Preserves #2: Judy’s Loquat Preserves with English Muffin and Butter

As mentioned elsewhere, I’m very fortunate that my wife loves to cook and make preserves. Not only do I get to eat this delicious fruit, but I get to paint it, too. This is one of a series I am working on. Something special about this particular jar of preserves is that it was made from loquats that come from a tree in our garden.

A small jar of homemade loquat preserves standing behind a clear plastic plate upon which is an English muffin with preserves, a butter knife and a chunk of unsalted butter. Set on a gray countertop with a black background.
